Terra Firma gains £234m from Infinis IPO

UK buyout firm stands to gain as it begins successful exit from energy company

Guy Hands’ Terra Firma has begun its exit from renewable energy company Infinis, netting £234 million after floating the company on the London Stock Exchange today.

Infinis, one of the UK's largest generators of renewable power, priced its initial public offering at 260p per share, at the bottom of its original 260p-310p range. The offering gives Infinis a market capitalisation of £780 million. Shares in Infinis began trading at 0800 GMT today.
