Terra Firma pays Hands £3.5m dividend as profits hit four-year low

The results come months after Hands dropped his multibillion dollar lawsuit against Citi

Guy Hands, the chairman and sole shareholder in Terra Firma Capital Partners, received a multimillion pound dividend despite profits at the private equity firm shrinking to a four-year low in the 12 months to the end of March 2016.

Hands received a £3.5 million dividend - the highest sum he has received since 2012 - according to Terra Firma’s latest annual report and accounts filed with Companies House.
