Terra Firma shakes up EMI with BAA recruit

Guy Hands private equity firm Terra Firma has brought in a former boss of airport group BAA to oversee the firm's investment in newly-acquired EMI, even though he has no experience in the music industry.

Mike Clasper, ITV board member and former BAA chief executive from 2003 to 2006, joins Terra Firma on its investor board and will work with EMI reviewing the manufacturing, logistics and sales operations of the company.
