Tether Holdings says it cut commercial paper holdings to zero

Tether said it has eliminated more than $30bn worth of commercial paper ‘without any losses’

Tether Holdings, the issuer of the largest stablecoin in the world, said on 13 October that it has cut its commercial paper holdings to zero and replaced them with US Treasury bills.

Commercial paper or short-term IOUs are short-term, unsecured debt issued by companies usually to meet short-term liabilities.
