Back in 2014 Jonathan Burrows, a former BlackRock executive, was unmasked as one of the UK’s biggest train fare dodgers.

For six years, Burrows avoided buying a ticket on his commute from Stonegate in East Sussex to Cannon Street. He ended up paying £43,000 to Southeastern railway in an out-of-court settlement.
