The world of wine can seem daunting to the uninitiated. For aspiring oenophiles, Sotheby’s is hosting an introduction to the appreciation of wine to help those who want to learn more but don’t know where to start. The aim of the course is to inspire those who enjoy wine to look beyond big supermarket brands and instill confidence in choosing what to serve with salt-crusted sea bass.

This session will be conducted by Damian Tillson, a senior specialist in Sotheby’s wine department, with 15 years experience in the wine business. Damian will guide participants through a tasting of six different wines illustrating the varying styles and qualities available in the market place.
