Blockchain.com, a cryptocurrency wallet provider backed by Google Ventures, is elbowing its way into trading.

The startup has launched a new trading venue called the PIT — the name is an homage to old-style ‘trading pits’. And it won’t come as a surprise to followers of financial startups that it is being billed as “institutional grade”.
