Luke Johnson, the chairman of Signature Restaurants whose stable of upmarket London eateries includes The Ivy, Le Caprice and The Collection, is no stranger to financial journalism with his Maverick column in The Sunday Telegraph.
So, perhaps it is surprising that Johnson has only now made his debut as a food critic - with a restaurant review for the inaugural issue of Bridgepoint Capital's in-house magazine. His review is a thumbs-up for La Fonda, a restaurant in Madrid that should now become popular with the staff and clients of Bridgepoint's Spanish office.
