Lobby group TheCityUK has appointed Sir Adrian Montague, the City heavyweight who is non-executive chair at insurer Aviva, to lead its advisory council.

The appointment comes at a crucial time for lobby groups in London, with the uncertainty of Brexit and its impact on UK finance still looming over the City.
