The Prime Minister has come out in support of a fundraising campaign orchestrated by Dame Helena Morrissey to improve diversity in the UK investment industry and support charities that lost out as a result of the closure of the infamous Presidents Club.

Morrissey, a City grandee, began work on the campaign following the scandal-hit Presidents Club was forced into closure in January after it emerged women working at the charity's annual dinner at the Dorchester Hotel were sexually harassed.
