Third round of virtual Brexit talks end with ‘very little progress’

Time is running out for the two sides to reach an agreement, with the transition period set to end 31 December

After three rounds of virtual talks between the UK and EU on their relationship post-Brexit, “significant outstanding issues” still separate the two sides.

The UK’s top negotiator David Frost said in a statement that “very little progress” had been made, as the third round of negotiations came to a close today.
