Another UK coverage banker exits UBS

Three UK-focused managing directors have now left UBS in as many weeks, though sources close to the bank say voluntary departures at MD level are much lower this year

A UK coverage banker at UBS has left to take an in-house role heading corporate finance at one of the Swiss bank's clients, Anglo American. It marks the third departure of a UK-focused managing director at UBS in as many weeks.

London-based Nimesh Patel, a managing director at UBS who has previously worked on deals for the resources giant, is to leave the bank, according to three sources familiar with the move.
