A managing director in the financial institutions group at UBS has become the third top executive this month to exit the bank's US business. His departure follows that of investment banking head Ken Moelis last week.

Eric Warmstein, who was hired by Moelis in 2002, has left UBS for a managing director role in the financials team at rival JP Morgan.
