Prime Minister Boris Johnson said this week that over 500,000 people in the UK had received the Covid-19 vaccine, after the UK became the first country worldwide to authorise the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus jab.

The UK has begun its vaccination programme, but supplies of the Pfizer vaccine are limited and most people face a long wait to get inoculated.
