Thomson hires Multex's Tousignant

Jim Tousignant, co-founder of Multex, the financial information company, has joined Thomson Financial, the software and data firm, as managing director of Global Strategic Accounts.

He will oversee a division which manages the top client accounts across Thomson's business, and which aims to cross-sell Thomson's product range to those accounts. The new division was set last year when the entire company was restructured to better reflect its product lines and to bring it into alignment with its clients.
