Thomson Reuters claims 300 clients for desktop tool

Media group goes live with flagship financial information service as it overhauls product portfolio

Thomson Reuters has said it has won the support of more than 300 clients for its its newly-launched flagship desktop service, as the media group continues to overhaul its product portfolio in a bid to boost revenues.

Thomson Reuters today said that its new desktop information software, called Eikon, went live, offering traders a "one stop shop" for market information, news, video, analytical tools, as well as links to trading venues.
