Thornburg Investment Management has chosen London as the location of its first overseas office, becoming the latest in a clutch of US managers to move across the Atlantic over the past year.

The Santa Fe, New Mexico-based asset manager, which has $87bn under management, said it had established an office in the UK capital in a statement today.
