A quarter of employees at banks in the UK say work has had a negative impact on their health and wellbeing, according to a report from the Banking Standards Board — a stubbornly high proportion that is little changed from previous years.

The Banking Standards Board, set up in 2015 to promote good behaviour among UK banks and their staff, reviews working practices across the sector in an annual report. The report, published on 28 January and now in its fourth year, surveyed more than 81,000 employees from 29 UK banks and building societies.
