Threadneedle appoints new manager for US hedge fund

Mike Corcell, the manager of Threadneedle Investments' $567m (€375m) US equity hedge fund who gave his investors a net return of 32.59% for the year to December 28, has left the UK asset manager.

A spokesman for Threadneedle said Corcell, who declined to comment, was going to another firm that did not wish its name to be disclosed.
