Capel Cure Sharp, the fund management subsidiary of Old Mutual Financial Services (UK), has said it is conducting an investigation into various administrative irregularities which occurred in 1999.

The matter arose after a failure to reconcile a bank account on a timely basis and the company said it took a number of months before the issue came to light through its internal monitoring procedures and audits.
