Fresh from its Paris listing last month, French investment firm Tikehau Capital has taken a step to boost its profile in the UK by appointing its first London head.

Peter Cirenza, a former Goldman Sachs partner who has been a member of the firm's advisory board since 2005, will take on the role, according to a statement this morning.
