Deutsche Bank has taken on three former heads of exchange-traded commodities from UBS, as the bank’s prime brokerage unit continues its push to become a top three player in the global futures markets, Financial News can reveal.
Tim Woodward, a veteran of the European listed derivatives markets, began his role as global head of listed commodities at the German bank's London office this month. He will report to Richard Jefferson, Deutsche's global head of commodities sales, and Fredrik Gentzel, global head of listed derivatives and Emea head of markets clearing. Deutsche Bank confirmed the moves.
