Tommy Hilfiger exploits its name in bond market

Tommy Hilfiger, the US fashion designer and retailer, is using its brand name to full advantage in the capital markets in its attempt to sell $150m (€169m) of bonds.

The company, famous for its distinctive red, white and blue leisure wear, is marketing the bonds to individual investors in the US rather than big institutions.
