The lobbyist who saw the British Bankers' Association through the Libor scandal is moving on this summer

Top bankers’ lobbyist to step down

Anthony Browne, the chief executive of the British Bankers' Association, is to leave the organisation this summer.

His departure, confirmed in a BBA statement on April 18, will coincide with the lobby group's merger with five other trade bodies, including the Council of Mortgage Lenders and the UK Cards Association, to form a new trade association, UK Finance.
