Top CSFB shake-up puts Granetz in charge of global M&A

Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has replaced its global co-heads of mergers and acquisitions in an attempt to revitalise its M&A advisory practice.

Donald Meltzer and George Boutros, who have served as co-heads of global M&A for the last three years, have been replaced by Marc Granetz, who has been promoted from his position of global head of the bank's technology, media and telecoms (TMT) practice.
