Three top UK investors have warned that global markets have bigger issues to worry about over the coming months than the outcome of Britain’s referendum on European Union membership.

Speaking at a WSJ City panel discussion on June 9, Andrew Balls, chief investment officer of global fixed income at Pimco, Richard Turnill, chief investment strategist at BlackRock, and Sushil Wadhwani, chief executive of Wadhwani Asset Management, agreed that while the referendum has the potential to jolt markets domestically, the international impact will likely be muted in the long run - whatever the outcome.
