Top JPMorgan electronic-trading exec to join SEC

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has named JPMorgan's top electronic-trading executive as a senior regulator overseeing exchanges and high-speed traders, writes Dave Michaels for The Wall Street Journal.

Brett Redfearn will become the SEC's director of trading and markets. He said he would join the regulator soon, but did not specify a date.
