Merrill Lynch has hired one of Morgan StanleyâÂÂs top mergers and acquisition bankers covering the financial sector, to add to its London-based investment banking business.
Caroline Silver, until last year the co-head of Morgan Stanleyâs European financials group, and most recently a vice-chairman of investment banking has quit to join Merrill Lynch.
