LTP Trade, the trade finance boutique, has completed a tough round of private equity financing in preparation for its initial public offering.
The company raised over £4m (€6.5m), and plans to list once its market capitalisation is large enough. Luigi La Ferla, chief executive of LTP, said: "This is the cornerstone. We're expecting to build the infrastructure to get ready for the IPO in 2003 or 2004. We want to reach the market with a market capitalisation north of £100m."
