Barclays hired UBS’s head of energy and infrastructure M&A in Europe as the UK lender continues a push into advising on the transition to clean energy sources. Rafael Abati was named co-head of Barclays’ energy transition group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, a new division within its investment bank launched in January.
