Trading Places: Citi, JP Morgan, APG and more…

Northern Trust staffs up Down Under
Tania Tuxford and David McWilliams joined Northern Trust as business development managers in its Sydney and Melbourne offices, respectively. They report to Angelo Calvitto, head of sales for corporate and institutional services in Asia-Pacific. Tuxford was most recently a senior relationship manager with ANZ Wealth; McWilliams joined from JP Morgan Investor Services. Simon McDonough was also hired from ITG as senior equity program trader in Sydney.

Global markets trade body appoints new lead
The Global Financial Markets Association, which represents the common interests of the world’s leading financial and capital markets participants, appointed Allison Parent as executive director. Parent will succeed David Strongin, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Parent was most recently head of global policy and strategy at Barclays, London, and had been senior policy adviser and counsel for markets at the Bank of England.
