Hermes hires duo to private equity arm
The private equity arm of Hermes Investment Management has made two senior hires with the appointment of Sanjeev Phakey and Fidel Manolopoulos to its London office. Phakey  joins from pension fund the Universities Superannuation Scheme and Manolopoulo joins from Mojo Capital where he recently led direct investments.

EQT Ventures hires from Spotify
The venture capital arm of Swedish private markets giant EQT Partners has hired a senior executive from music streaming company Spotify. Axel Bringéus, the former global head of markets at Spotify, left to join EQT's Berlin office in November. Bringéus will advise EQT Ventures’ portfolio companies on entering new markets.
