Spain’s Altamar recruits advisers in global push
Altamar Capital Partners, a fund-of-funds investor, has recruited four senior advisers, including the head of investor relations at Centerbridge Partners, as it seeks to expand its global investor base beyond its stronghold in Spain and Latin America. The firm has hired Maryfrances Metrick, Iñigo Fernández de Mesa, Kennon Koay and Dr. Rolf Wickenkamp.

Law firm Baker McKenzie has promoted 80 individuals to partner level worldwide, with five promotions in its London office. The dispute resolution department saw the largest intake of new partners.
