HSBC appoints new private equity head
HSBC has appointed Borja Azpilicueta as global head of financial sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and institutional private clients coverage groups. Azpilicueta joined HSBC in 2012 as co-head of advisory in Spain. He will be based in London and report to Robin Phillips, co-head of global banking.

RBC hires from Credit Suisse
The Royal Bank of Canada wealth management arm has has appointed Fiona Lucas as a managing director for relationship management in London. Lucas, who joins from Credit Suisse, will be responsible for driving the overall performance of client teams within the sales and relationship management division.
