Nomura shuffles senior line up
The Japanese bank has announced significant changes to its senior line up, with Steve Ashley becoming the sole head of wholesale division and head of global markets. He had shared the first role with Kentaro Okuda, who has become regional head of Americas for the bank. In an internal memo, seen by FN, Ashley announced the appointment of Rig Karkhanis as head of global markets, Asia ex-Japan, in addition to his role as chair of global emerging markets. He also told colleagues about the appointment of Norikazu Akedo as global head of equities and welcomed Hideo Kitano to the region as co-head of global markets, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

LaSalle promotes Zeuner to European role
LaSalle Investment Management has moved Chris Zeuner to head of acquisitions central Europe, northern and southern Europe. He was previously head of central Europe at LaSalle having joined the firm in 2012. In his new role, he will have overall responsibility for all acquisitions in CEE, Netherlands, Nordics, Italy and Spain, working closely with the current senior acquisitions team.
