Senior trader joins Principal Global Investors
Principal Global Investors appointed Stuart Lawrence as senior equities trader to the global trading team. He will be responsible for co-managing the firm's European equity trades and will be based in its London office. He will report to Gayle Wageman, who manages the global trading desk. Lawrence, who will co-manage European dealing alongside Rogier Van de Grift, was an equity sales trader at Instinet for more than six years. He also worked as senior dealer for Ennismore Fund Management and was a European market maker at ABN AMRO.

Owl Private Office flies with veteran support
Owl Private Office has been established in London by three veterans of the banking, wealth management and multi-family office sectors, Adam Wethered, William Drake and Andrew Wimble. The firm will provide an advisory consultancy service to very wealthy families and endowments. Wethered worked for JP Morgan for 24 years, where he ran its private bank and institutional client business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Drake, a barrister, worked in the investment and corporate finance business at Kleinwort Benson, followed by 17 years at Granville.  In 2000, Wethered and Drake co-founded Lord North Street, a private investment office. Wimble previously worked for JM Finn & Co, Barclays Wealth, Kleinwort Benson and ANZ Grindlays Bank.
