Santander hired a trio of senior dealmakers from larger rivals amid ongoing plans to expand its investment bank in the face of an ongoing drought in activity. The bank hired Eduardo Trocha from Credit Suisse as a senior banker within its leveraged finance function in Europe. Trocha was latterly co-head of leveraged finance capital markets at Credit Suisse.
