Treasury committee writes to FCA over ‘troubling’ complaints handling

The letter comes after a report by the Complaints Commissioner on how the FCA deals with complaints

Treasury Committee chair Mel Stride MP has written to Charles Randell, chair of the Financial Conduct Authority, over concerns about the watchdog’s handling of complaints.

Stride’s intervention comes after an April report by the Complaints Commissioner, an independent reviewer of complaint procedures, which made “numerous concerning observations” about a particular case and the way the FCA deals with such matters.
