Troika taps BofA Merrill for banking chief

The Russian bank continues its hiring spree with the appointment of a former Bank of America Merrill Lynch telecoms head as it looks to expand

Troika Dialog, the Russian investment bank snapped up by Kremlin-backed lender Sberbank earlier this year, has hired a senior Bank of America Merrill Lynch investment banker as it continues to expand its operation.

Todd Berman, who most recently was global co-head of media and telecoms at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, has been appointed co-head of investment banking.
