Trustees to the giant British Telecom and Post Office pension funds are studying ways to limit their exposure to very large UK stocks, led by Vodafone Mannesmann.

'This is an important matter, and the trustees will be considering all possible options,' says Tony Watson, chief investment officer at Hermes, which supervises each fund.
