Rival fund managers have hired two investment staff from Standard Life Investments in the past two weeks. Jonathan Cobb has left for Fidelity and Mark Niznik is set to join Artemis.

A Standard Life spokesman confirmed Cobb had left last week and that Niznik had departed the week before. Both managers will remain in Edinburgh.
