UBS Asset Management is increasing its focus on Scandinavia and has hired Per Lundqvist from SEB to head up its client relationship effort in Stockholm.

Lundqvist held a similar role at SEB in Stockholm. The hire is the first local one for the asset management arm of UBS, said Mark Boylan, vice-chairman of UBS Asset Management in London. Lundqvist will report to Boylan.
