Richard Semark, the equities trading veteran, has left UBS after almost 16 years, becoming the latest big name in European market infrastructure to move on in recent months.
Semark, who was a managing director in the bank’s equities arm, had his final day at UBS on December 19, according to two people familiar with the matter, who described the departure as “amicable”. Recently, he led client execution strategy, helping asset managers to buy and sell stocks more efficiently.
