When Simona Maellare started a family, she had to resort to “24/7 childcare” to juggle a high-flying investment banking career and raising children.
“It felt like managing a family business while trying to move up in my banking career. I had some male managers who said they were supportive, but I’m not sure they really understood the challenges I was facing,” Maellare told Financial News.
