UBS has named 177 new managing directors, with women comprising a third of those making the cut as large investment banks look to improve gender diversity in the senior ranks.

The Swiss bank, which is in the midst of integrating its former rival Credit Suisse, said that it has increased the proportion of women making managing director in 2024 to 30%, from 28% a year earlier.
