UBS has become the latest European bank to expand its US equity origination capabilities, with the recruitment of Thomas Fox from Credit Suisse First Boston to be its co-head of US equity capital markets.

Fox was formerly global head of ECM at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette which was bought by CSFB in November 2000. His most recent role was managing director and co-head of US equity capital markets. He joined DLJ in 1995 from Kidder, Peabody where he also worked in the equity capital markets group.
