UBS has hired Barclays’ head of mergers and acquisitions for France, its second senior investment banking appointment in the country in as many months.
Nicolas Paquet, who has led Barclays’ M&A team in France and Belgium for four years, will join UBS’s Paris office in October, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
