UBS has hired a senior investment banker from rival Deutsche Bank to focus on its coverage of the consumer sector — the latest in a raft of managing director hires by the Swiss bank this year.
Julie Sonies, an MD in Deutsche's consumer and retail industry focused investment banking team, will join UBS in a similar role early next year, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
