UBS Wealth Management Americas, a unit of UBS, named Mike Ryan its chief investment strategist, as brokerage head Robert McCann continues to put his stamp on the firm's research department.

Ryan, whose former title was head of wealth management research, will now be responsible for enhancing the distribution of UBS' research to the firm's financial advisers and its clients. He reports to McCann.
