UBS has poached a senior investment banker from Deutsche Bank to cover clients in the industrials sector, the latest big hire at the Swiss bank as it looks to gain a bigger share of the market.

Romine Hakme, a 10-year veteran of the German lender who led its coverage of building products, and paper and packaging clients in Europe, is set to join UBS in the new year, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
